Here are some Business Cases that show the way we work and think. Go green... be the next!Hajtás Pajtás Hajtás Pajtás is one of the oldest cycle carrier in Budapest. They try to use only bicycles but for the larger packages they had to use cars or motorcycles. From 2008 all the emissions generated by these machines became carbon neutral.
We calculated all the emissions that came from the motorcycles and cars based on their fuel usage. They than offset 99 tonnes of CO2 in 2008 and 77 tonnes of CO2 in 2009. How Co2ntra helped?- We tracked and calculated the emission generated by their cars and motorcycle's fuel consumption.
- We deleted CERs to offset all remaining transport emissions to net zero.
- Carriers proudly wore the Co2ntra’s badge and displayed our poster on their backpacks to communicate their contribution to a greener world.
After a while Hajtás Pajtás could no longer say no to bigger packages and deliveries further away. We had to begin using cars and motorcycles to deliver these packages, because a courier should be universal. We only use small cars and a couple of motorcycle if absolutely necessary. Despite this we were still concerned that we were heating the Earth. We were very happy to meet Co2ntra and they helped us becoming carbon neutral.  Gábor Kürti
