Citylets

Abe Richman and Alex Markus have opened a Citylets office in Budapest, only three years after having established their first office in London. The company has an excellent and proven record of success in the residential property sector, both in London and now in Budapest.

Citylets is working in a small office, they don’t have cars, and only use taxis and public transportation. Therefore the majority of their emissions come from the office usage. They use electricity and gas. Based on their bills we calculated the monthly and the yearly emissions back to the start of the company. They decided to start the early offsetting process from 2009. 

How Co2ntra helped?

• We tracked and calculated the emission generated by the electricity and the gas usage of the Citylets office. 
• We provided consultancy and support on how Citylets team could reduce their emissions in the office before offsetting.
• We compensated all remaining emissions by deleting the equivalent amount of CERs.
• Citylets is now a certified carbon neutral operation.
