Here are some Business Cases that show the way we work and think. Go green... be the next!ARC exhibition The ARC exhibition has a long tradition in Budapest. It was founded in 1999 with the aim to give new blood to local street advertising. As the ARC exhibition only uses electricity, we calculated and then offseted those emissions. This green action was well received by the public and media resulting in a great press coverage. We worked together in 2008, 2009 and 2010. How Co2ntra helped:- We tracked and calculated the emissions generated by the electricity usage during the exhibition.
- The exhibition offset its emissions by purchasing and deleting CERs.
- Co2ntra certified the offsetting and made a special poster for the venue.
- We helped them to communicate it through a PR campaign.
Now it's the third time that the ARC offset it's CO2 emissions with the help of Co2ntra. From the first time we were open to the Co2ntra initiative as we also pay particular attention to environmental protection. Every year with the ARC exhibition we present eco-posters to encourage a change in attitude of the visitors. Since we are also vanguards of environmental protection we offset what we can't reduce during the exhibition. Thank you to Co2ntra for the opportunity to give back something to the environment.
