History
The company was founded by Dr. Levente Horváth in 2007 as a spin-off project connected to the Hungarian Academy of Science's climate change research program. Co2ntra was the first and by 2009 became Hungary's leading carbon offset company. In the same year, Rodrigo Cartacho officially joined to the company becoming later its CEO. In 2010 the company defined a new strategy to give us a clear direction and long term focus for the business. In 2011, Co2ntra went global, delivering new and innovative services to markets worldwide.
